VirtualBox v4.1.22.80657 Portable יצירת מערכת הפעלה וירטואלית
VirtualBox היא תוכנה{חינמית בקוד פתוח} להפעלת מכונות וירטואליות המפותחת על ידי אורקל. היא מיועדת בעיקר להפעלה מסביבת שולחן העבודה ומאפשרת להריץ בקלות יחסית מערכת הפעלה אחת או יותר !! מתוך מערכת הפעלה אחרת.כלומר על על כונן פיזי שעליו מותקנת, נאמר, חלונות 7, יכול כל אחד בפשטות רבה להתקין על מחיצה וירטואלית מערכת הפעלה אחרת -נניח XP או אחת מגרסאות מקנטוש וכו. ולהריצה כמו הייתה מערכת הפעלה מותקנת לכל דבר ועניין. כל מה שמתרחש במערכת הוירטואלית אינו משפיע כלל על המחשב . התוכנה נפרדת לחלוטין וכל מה שנוריד אליה לא יותקן על הכונן הפיזי ולא יירשם ברגיסטרי.
