AA: Approach Anxiety. Those damn butterflies in your chest as you approach a girl, or the wall of fear
that prevents you from approaching at all. (psst! Here's a hint: you can walk straight through that wall!)
AFC: Average Frustrated Chump. Practically every guy who isn't a natural or a pickup artist.
rAFC: Reformed/Recovering Average Frustrated Chump. Someone who hasn't yet mastered the skills of a
pickup artist, but who is on his way to learning them. The majority of the community basically.
AMOG: Alpha Male of the Group. The ring-leader of a social circle or set of people. AMOG can also be used
as a verb to describe the act of positioning yourself as the alpha male. (AMOGing)
ASD: Anti-Slut Defence. Something every woman has and will likely use, to prevent lowering her perceived
value in the eyes of her friends and any significant others. Can also be linked to last-minute resistance for
the same reason as above.
DHV: Demonstration of Higher Value. Anything that will raise your own social value, and build attraction in
the target. Could be a story, a magic trick, demonstration of leadership etc.
DLV: Demonstration of Lower Value. The opposite of a DHV, and to be avoided at all costs!
DYD: Double Your Dating. David DeAngelo's market for pick-up, mainly focusing on cocky-funny.
FB: Fuck Buddy. You don't honestly need an explanation for that do you? When a man and a woman
become very close, something magical can happen! The man will... geez...
FR: Field Report. A post on the forum detailing a night out, or a date with a girl, allowing for community
feedback.
FTC: False Time Constraint. To indicate to a group that you won't be able to stay for long. 'I've only got
a couple of minutes, I have to meet some friends on the hour.'
HB/SHB: Hot Babe / Super Hot Babe. Will usually be presented with a number after the acronym such as
HB9, and in the case of a SHB - SHB11. A HB is usually any girl rating from a 6 to a 10. A SHB rating is for
girls above a 10/10.
IOI: Indicator of Interest. Given by a girl when she is interested in you, or by you to the girl in A3
to reward her.
IOD: Indicator of Disinterest. Used to disqualify yourself as a potential boyfriend during A1 and A2.
A neg is an example of this.
SOI: Statement of Intent, or Show of Interest. A direct comment to convey that you are interested
in a girl.
IVD: Interactive Value Demonstration. A type of routine designed to hook a woman, by teaching her
something interesting about herself.
KJ: Keyboard Jockey. Used to describe a member of the community who spends all of his time on the
forums, and none of it running game.
LJBF: Let's Just Be Friends. A common rejection line used by girls.
LSE: Low Self-Esteem. To describe someone who has... well... low self-esteem.
LTR: Long-Term Relationship. There's no real set time as to when a relationship becomes 'long-term',
just means you've been with the girl for a while and most likely intend to stay with her for the forseeable
future.
MLTR: Multiple Long-Term Relationships. Ideally you should be honest with girls if you are seeing more
than one at a time, and let them know about it.
MM/TMM: Mystery Method / The Mystery Method. The method we use to improve our lives and successes
with women!
NLP: Neuro-Linguistic Programming. A form of psychology and waking hypnosis, in which subtle lines and
references are made in conversation to elicit certain emotions in a person, affecting them on a
subconscious level.
S&R: Survival and Replication. The driving factors in our life. Improve your chances at both, and you
become more attractive to women. That's the gist of it anyhow!
