"This is caused by our visual focus mechanism, which is called "tunnel vision" by neurologists. It is why the illusions in Escher's arts work too. We can not focus on multiple parts of the image, and when we switch our focus from one end to the other, the entire logic of the image changes, which creates the illusion. Try looking at the image from a distance, you will see it more clear since when you include the entire image in your tunnel vision, the illusion disappears.
Which means that "when you still don't get it how" is an invalid argument."
