It's ain't mettar if it helps in the exams or not, life isn't 'bout exams, and if you wanna live in the U.S or U.K, you should know to speak english, otherwise you have no cause to live there.

Saying "English" is ok aswell, since it's a shortcut of the old (er, 1800s or so) word "Englishmen", generally refering to the natives of England. You should read your history sometime.
