Note:Macemen are the same thing as clubswingers, it's just a different name they use over on US servers.
1. Raid as many times as you can, when you send your troops out remember how long it will take for them to come back so you can send another raid right away.
2. Don't care about upgrading any resource fields(all of my resource feilds combined don't even make 100 resources per hour, excluding wheat which is in the negetives)
3. Don't build infrastructure until you have 50 macemen, don't even go for researching new troops. Also, if you don't build your infrastructure you won't have lots of pop which means you won't stick out as a big player in your area(this means that other big players won't try to remove you from the game, but it can also make you look like a farm to some of the players) Not buiding infrastructure means that you will have more wheat to feed your troops.
4. Attack everyone in sight, I'm not afraid of anyone here, especially the ones that have "attack me and I will attack back" on their profile.
5. Scan your area for other teutons, they might become a problem for you because they raid the same people that you raid. When you get a nice amount of troops (50-60 macemen) attack them, it will be good if you hit their troops at home. But remember, that might not be all of their troops, they might have some out raiding. Attack them repeatedly. Their first defense units are spearmen which are good against cavalry and ok against foot units, making your macemens attack more than their spearmens defence.
6. Keep a record of those that attack you, how often they attack you, and how many/ what types of troops they attack you with.
7. Upgrade wheat fields more than any other field. My wheat fields make more than all of the other fields combined and I'm still making negetive wheat.
8. When you get around 75-100 macemen, you start researching paladins.
9. Build a hero if you'd like, macemen heros are weak but cheap, paladin heros are strongish but expensive. You should make your TK your hero because they are the strongest teuton unit.
10. Don't leave your troops at home when you are away from the village because someone might attack you and kill off your troops. If you are going to be gone(such as going to sleep, or work and cant check your account) send your troops on a far away raid.
