System requirements

User Tracker requires Windows 98/Me/NT 4.0/2000/XP/2003. You can run Password Director under Windows 95 if you have Internet Explorer 4.0 or later installed.



User Tracker consists of three components:

1) client component that tracks user's activity

2) server component that records the information from the client(s)

3) viewer that provides user's interface to the database and generates reports.



In the case of single computer installation all three components should be installed on the computer. In the case of network installation you should install client component on every computer you want to track, server component and viewer should be installed onto the server (one dedicated computer in the LAN). If you want to track the server as well, you should also install client component on the server.

UTNetwork.zip - there are two setup programs inside: client and server.
Limitations for demo-versions:

Server receives requests from IP address 127.0.0.1 only.
Viewer shows local computer only.
Reports can be prepared for the current day only. Attempts to get reports for another period is blocked, simultaneously warning message "Not available in demo version! Please register." appears on monitor.
You can see only the first 10 records in report. Message "Demo version. Please register" appears for the other records.
In graph reports the first three records appear . Message "Demo version. Please register" appears for the other records.
If demo version is used or the number of licenses exceeds the permitted one the message "Demo version" or "Demo Version. You have not enough licenses!" appears instead of user's name.
