Understand for Jovial v1.4.330
Understand for JOVIAL is an interactive development environment (IDE) tool offering reverse engineering, automatic documentation, code navigation and understanding, metrics, maintenance and cross reference tool for JOVIAL source code. The tool supports the J3 Mil-Std-1588 and J73 Mil-Std-1589C standards, and close variants. It is designed to help engineers who have inherited large amounts of JOVIAL legacy code.
The tool offers incremental analysis (parsing) of only source code that has changed, detailed graphical reverse engineering, highly interactive cross referencing, and detailed automatic documentation via HTML output. All parsing is compiler independent - Understand for JOVIAL uses it's own JOVIAL parser designed especially for its kind of analysis.
Views include call (invocation) trees, callby trees, Ada Structure Graphs (ASG) adapted for showing structure in JOVIAL, colorized source browsing/editing, full cross reference with one click visiting, quick and smart project wide string searching and detailed HTML/text documentation of analysis information.
