If this question was asked 30-40 years ago for example, I
guess that the answer was unequivocal- "the parents". But
today the game's rules are slightly different, the typical
teenager is much more independence than then. Many
times he makes his own choices and get to decisions on his
own. But in this whole total independence, of course he also
have people he trust them, ask their advice and call them
when he need some help or someone to lend an attentive
ear, and probably this special person is influential.
That 'special person' is changing from one teenager to the
other. Some think that family is peerless, but others feel too
embarrassed to talk with their Mom about everything, so
they prefer to discuss on certain subjects with their best
friend. In my opinion, the 2 options are legitimate, because
the most important is that you have your "someone" who
cares about you and nevermind if he's your Mom or your
MAN, or if he's your Dad or your DUDE.
