Ansys EMA3D Cable is a dedicated, platform-level electromagnetic cable modeling simulation tool. It delivers a design-to-validation workflow including electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic computability (EMC) certification support and system-design evaluation for cable harness designs in the aerospace, automotive, military, oil and gas, consumer electronics and energy sectors. When applied early in the cable harness design stage, EMA3D Cable helps predict the performance of their products under the EMC certification tests.

By leveraging an efficient forgiving mesh, EMA3D can handle even the most complex CAD geometries. EMA3D also employs SpaceClaim's Direct Modeler UI to create a streamlined workflow, enabling engineers to quickly define a cable's contents and simulate complex and realistic models in a fraction of time.

EMA3D Cable delivers highly accurate simulations of lightning strikes, high-intensity radiated fields (HIRF), electromagnetic pulses (EMP), radiated emissions, crosstalk and susceptibility investigations among other EMC applications.

EMA3D Cable's specialized solvers capture the detail of highly sophisticated platforms ranging from aircraft to automobiles to naval platforms - or any electronics system - in a computationally accessible manner, including every cable harness equipped with detailed multi-shields and multi-conductors.
