I chose several of the major characters. The characters are: Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher.

5. Huckleberry Finn – he was the son of the town drunkard. All the mothers of the town dreaded and hated Huckleberry because he was lazy, vulgar and lawless. They were afraid that the boys will copy his behavior. Huckleberry was always dressed in the cast-off clothes of full-grown men. He didn't have to go to school or church, call anybody master or obey anyone, he was his one master. Huckleberry Finn was one of Tom Sawyers friends, and they spend time together often.

Tom Sawyer – he is the hero of the book. He was a lazy, greedy and kind boy. He enjoys walking bear footed. He's love in the story is Becky Thatcher; he fell in love with her immediately and forgot about every other girl at the same moment. Throw out the book tom has many adventures with he's friends.
6. The story happens in Year 2000 and the story take place in the Mississippi River.

On Saturday morning, Aunt Polly sends Tom out to whitewash the fence. Jim passes by, and Tom tries to get him to do some of the whitewashing in return for a “white alley,” a kind of marble. Jim almost agrees, but Aunt Polly appears and chases him off, leaving Tom alone with his labor.
A little while later, Ben Rogers, another boy Tom’s age, walks by. Tom convinces Ben that whitewashing a fence is great pleasure, and after some bargaining, Ben agrees to give Tom his apple in exchange for the privilege of working on the fence. Over the course of the day, every boy who passes ends up staying to whitewash, and each one gives Tom something in exchange.
8. My favorite part is the Tom Sawyer book manages to escape from school, chores and punishments through various schemes tricks because it's part of it runs and runs and uses this and more in actionand action than other parts.

Becky tells her father about how Tom saved her, and the judge decides that Tom should go to a military academy and then become a lawyer. I would like to recommend the book: "Tom Sawyer" because of several reasons.
To begin with, it is a wonderful book and I enjoyed reading it very much. The book is mostly based on the life of Mark Twain and I couldn't stoop reading. I hope that the one that will read it after me would enjoy it like I did. Furthermore, I learned many new word throw this book and is has expanded my vocabulary. In addition, while you are reading a book specially an adventure book it expands your imagination and you thinking abilities.

In conclusion, I think that the book "Tom Sawyer" is a great book and reading it was a pleasure. I hope that many more children will read and enjoy it.[/B]
