אני די בטוח שהרוב פה לא מכירים את משחקי Painkiller כי לאורך השנים הם לא צברו הרבה פופלאריות.
אז אני יתן בקצרה רקע למשחקים וקצת יספר על REDEMPTION

ב-2004 חברת PEOPLE CAN FLY פיתחה את פיינקילר משחק יריות גוף ראשון בסגנון SERIOUS SAM
שבו יורים בכל מה שזז. זה היה משחק בעל גרפיקה טובה ומנוע פיזיקלי שעבד נהדר (HAVOK). ב-2007
פיתחה חברה אחרת את המשחק PAINKILLER OVERDOSE שבמקור היה מוד שהפך למשחק מלא. הוא
לא זכה להצלחה גדולה במיוחד והתלונה העיקרית הייתה שהוא לא עשה שום דבר חדש מהמשחק המקורי.
ב-2009 פיתחה "חברת" HOMEGROWN את PAINKILLER RESURRECTION שהיה כשלון מכל בחינה
אפשרית. באגים וקריסות, עיצוב שלבים מחריד, סיפור גרוע שמוצג בצורה משעממת ועוד.

החודש יגיע משחק נוסף בסדרה שנקרא PAINKILLER REDEMPTION שהתחיל כמוד והפך למשחק מלא.
המשחק ימשיך את הסיפור מהמשחק Painkiller Overdose. (המשחק PK OVERDOSE נגמר כשהגיבור
בלאייל אומר שהוא מחפש את הגיבור מהמשחק הראשון -דניאל גרנר- כדי שיעזור לו לחסל את השטן). סך
הכל הם מבטיחים לא מעט דברים השאלה היא איך הם יצליחו כי גם מפתחי Resurrection הבטיחו המון
ובסוף המשחק היה על הפנים.
