Gameplay is turn-based and returns to its original 2D aspect for the first time on PC since Worms World Party in 2001. There are both Single player and Multiplayer modes available with up to four players online.
Each player controls a small team of worms and must destroy the enemy team's worms by any means necessary with a variety of weapons and tools. The landscape is fully destructible and players must also try to protect their worms from being blown into the water.
