משחק הוא כמובן חלק מסדרת Diablo המצליחה, שצצה לה עוד בימי Warcraft ו-Starcraft, כאשר בניגוד לשניים האחרים, המשחק הוא מז'אנר תפקידים, ונחשב לאחד מהמשחקים המהנים והמצליחים ביותר.
עובדי החברה המפתחת, סירבו לפתוח את הפה לגבי מידע רב מדי, אך בהחלט גילו מספיק בשביל להחזיק אותנו במתח עד ליציאת המשחק.
על המשחק
המשחק לוקח מקום 20 שנה לאחר אירועי המשחק הקודם, בהם דיאבלו, השד הנוראי, ניסה לשעבד את המין האנושי.
כעת רשע חדש מאיים על העולם, ועל אותם גיבורים אהובים ששיחקנו בעבר להתאחד מחדש ולהציל את העולם... שוב.
המשחק ישלב בין שימוש בנשקים כמו גרזנים ופטישים, ובמקביל שימוש בכשפים על מנת להערים על אויבכם, כאשר תילחמו בהם, בסביבות פתוחות, אפלות וקודרות, כיאה לסדרה.
עד כה, נחשפו רק 2 סוגי לוחמים: הברברי, שהוא הלוחם האכזרי אשר משתמש בגרזנים בעיקר, ומשסף כל אויב בדרכו, והרופא המכשף, אשר משתמש בכשפים על מנת לשתק את אויביו וביכולות נוספות.
המנוע הגרפי שוכלל כמובן, וכעת המשחק בתלת-מימד מלא, עם אפשרויות חדשות כמו יכולת זום במצלמה, וגישה נוחה ליכולות.
בנוסף, כל דמות תעוצב באופן ייחודי, שלא כמו במשחקים הקודמים, ותוכלו לבחור את סוגי הבגדים אותם הדמות תלבש.
אך מתלונות רבות של מעריצי הסדרה, נראה כאילו המשחק נטש את אווירתו הקודרת והאפלה, לטובת סביבות צבעוניות ושמחות יותר, ולכן יש לחכות ולראות מה יעשו מפתחי המשחק בנידון.
