ArchiCAD is an architectural CAD program for Windows developed by the Hungarian company Graphisoft initially and until 1995 under the name of Radar/Ch. Objects, components and structures require a custom instrument with an extraordinary flexibility of modeling. ArchiCAD 16 introduces modeling capabilities directly into BIM with its newest tool FORM (MORPHTM). The tool allows the creation of FORM elements with any geometry intuitive graphical manner, using the most common modeling techniques, such as "push & pull". FORM elements can be created from scratch by simply drawing a polygon 3D or converting any existing ArchiCAD BIM element. The instrument FORM is an optimal solution for the creation of BIM components, structures and elements related to the environment of the building and also for the design of custom interiors

The graphical user interface easy to use tool FORM works with the most popular methods of editing and 3D interaction: select any point, edge, or surface, or any combination of these sub-elements and move freely in space. The possibility of editing as push & pull, resize, blunt, rounded, swollen or segments allow you to transform your elements in any form you wish.
Following the conventions of the ArchiCAD 3D, real-time visual feedback facilitates the editing process showing the possible results dynamically as you edit the elements.

This database in the cloud integrated into ArchiCAD collects and provides direct access tens of thousands of GDL elements in a single virtual space. It is a collection of easy to read and evolving, which is enriched with information provided by users, developers and manufacturers GDL.
