BETA CAE Systems S.A. announces the new 14.0.2 release of the ANSA & ETA pre- & post-processing suite, with new features and new code corrections.

Following the releases of 14.0.0 and 14.0.1 of our ANSA ETA pre-and post-processing suite, with outstanding new software features and tools, which enhance the user experience and increase the simulation processes performance, we announce the release of version v14.0.2 with enhancements and known issues resolved.

- A new option is available for cutting all parts when creating cut planes from the 3d > Sections option.
- A new method, named Global direction, is available for the calculation of the intrusion of the vehicles superstructure to the survival space.

Known Issues Resolved

- The Unix/Linux version of ETA might hang after copying a path from another workspace and pasting it to another, in which ETA was open
- Adina corner results could not be read correctly
- Results from certain FEMZIP LS-Dyna files would not be read
- Wrong visibility of failed elements for certain LS-Dyna files
- Complex and corner scalar results on solids, shells and beams were not supported correctly in 2D Plot from Nastran *.op2 and *.pch files
- History results from Pamcrash THELE on SPH elements could not be read correctly.
