Berimbau - Single Line percussion instrument, a native of Brazil. The origin of the berimbau has not been fully established, but most likely he has African roots. The berimbau is closely linked with the Brazilian martial art capoeira, is also part of the tradition of Candomble.
There are 3 types of berimbau, which differ in tone: viola (high tone), mediu (midtone) and Gunga (low tone). In the modern schools of capoeira use all three types of berimbau, but in Capoeira Regional used only Gunga.
The berimbau consists of Qabas (resonating gourd), Verga (stick, which pull the string), arame (a string), getting (stone or coin, which is pressed against the string to change the sound), Kaxix (wicker basket, which publishes additional sound when playing ) and buckets (bacillus, which is extracted sound).
This library is the deepest level of sampling berimbau in history, as the recording was carried out in the form of multi-samples and loops using the traditional stick and bow.
Major patches are divided into four groups: Berimbau Stick (multi-samples), Berimbau Stick (loops 80-140 BPM), Berimbau Bow (multi-samples) and Berimbau Bow (loops 80-140 BPM). The majority of multi-samples are played using multiple dynamic layers, an average of 8-10 repetitions (so-called round-robin) on the layer.
