Neil Patrick Harris has revealed that his favourite part of fatherhood is when his sons are smiling.
The How I Met Your Mother star, who won 'Favourite TV Actor' at this week's People's Choice Awards, told reporters that he is finding raising twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace with partner David Burtka an enjoyable experience so far.
Harris said: "Fatherhood is going good. They're very small right now, so thankfully there have been no urgent care trips or accidental drops."
He added: "I love when they're smiling, but for a little while they don't. They're smiling, and once they start laughing I am going to be head over heels for these two. Not like I'm already not, but you know."
Harris then joked: "Then I'll think they will be laughing at my comedy, so I will never leave the house."
